Stress is an inevitable part of life. But, believe it or not, stress can be positive. It can serve as motivation and lead us to positive outcomes, such as greater focus, learning new skills, and accomplishing goals. But we need to be keenly aware of when we reach the negative, red zone on the stress spectrum. With this awareness, we can take action to build resilience versus experiencing burnout.
The challenge is that most of us believe stress is driven by having too much to do, not enough resources, or unclear expectations. But these are generalized factors and are rarely the root causes of stress.
In this live session, Leslie Ferry, Brize Founder and CEO, and Pamela Coleman-Davis, Leadership Coach and developer of The Modern Leadership Design, will:
- Explore the true causes of stress
- Share how to recognize you are reaching burnout
- Provide practical guidance for developing lifelong stress management and building resilience
- Define actions to take to avoid burnout
